The Figgy & Co recipe booklet digital file will take our natural cleaning solutions international! Please note where this recipe booklet calls for Figgy & Co home cleaning castile soap an alternative liquid or castile soap can be substituted. We recommend a liquid soap formulated for cleaning (that does not have excess moisturising oils); if you cannot find a specialist cleaning soap, a general purpose liquid soap (e.g. Dr Bronner's) would be adequate (but not best performing).
the Figgy recipe e-booklet makes it easy! We promise!
The booklet is divided up in to cleaning by room, under each section are the recipes you’ll use. In some instances there are a couple of recipes to choose from for each task. This means you can choose the recipe that suits you best. For example there are three laundry recipes – our regular laundry powder and also a liquid wash and a quick laundry powder. Perfect right!
All the recipes are made with ingredients you recognise and can easily come by – it was important to us to leave out all the hard to source fussy ingredients – who’s got time for that!
Each recipe is tried and tested and all get the tick of homemade approval. While it is true that some of the recipes are not an exact match for a store bought product – most of the time its better, same great cleaning result and sidestepping all of the chemical waffle! You may need to do the occasional shake to mix up ingredients that have separated that’s all.
We have even popped extra notes pages at the back – this is were you can jot down your favourite essential oil blends and other recipes you also like to use!

We pack orders 3+ times a week and after leaving Figgy HQ have a target delivery of 1-2 days for urban deliveries and 2-4 days for non-urban and rural.
All parcels will have a tracking link that will be emailed to you. For rural deliveries, Post Haste contracts NZ post to complete rural delivery where they do not have drivers.

After purchase a link will be sent to you which you download. We suggest you save a copy of the booklet to your device to access later rather than relying on the link each time.
Making the switch to homemade cleaners is a cinch and doesn’t take up a lot of time – each cleaner takes minutes and certainly not hours!
99% of the ingredients needed for our cleaning recipes are available here in the Figgy shop – but beeswax used in the furniture polish will need to be source elsewhere.
We say reuse jars, bottles and trigger sprayers you all ready have! We also carry a range of glass hardware if you need to top up and have replacement parts like new trigger sprayers. We even have labels for your homemade cleaners and your ingredients too!
Love the recipe book. Has heaps of useful recipes. The book is super easy and clear to follow. Highly recommend to start making your own natural cleaning supplies.
