This wee booklet will be your constant companion and go-to for all things chemically conscious. Filled with recipes tried and tested with love by the Figgy team, there is a recipe for every room in here!
When we first started on our journey of making home cleaners we hit a snag. We were overwhelmed with recipes that weren't quite right. Many called for difficult to find ingredients and most weren't effective enough, we needed reliable home cleaning recipes that were a cinch to make up!
And so, the Figgy & Co. recipe booklet is filled with tried and tested DIY home cleaning recipes, formulated with love by the Figgy team. There is a recipe for task and every room in here! Check out the contents page in the image above to see just how many recipes are included!
All of our recipes are based on traditional cleaning methods, but tweaked using scientific principles for modern life.

Using the Figgy recipe booklet is easy! We promise!
The booklet is divided up in to cleaning by room, under each section are the recipes you’ll use. In some instances there are a couple of recipes to choose from for each task. This means you can choose the recipe that suits you best. For example there are three laundry recipes – our regular laundry powder and also a liquid wash and a quick laundry powder. Perfect right!
All the recipes are make with ingredients you recognise and can easily come by – it was important to us to leave out all the hard to source fussy ingredients – who’s got time for that!
Each recipe is tried and tested and all get the tick of homemade approval. While it is true that some of the recipes are not an exact match for a store bought product – most of the time its better, same great cleaning result and sidestepping all of the chemical waffle! You may need to do the occasional shake to mix up ingredients that have separated that’s all.
We have even popped extra notes pages at the back – this is were you can jot down your favourite essential oil blends and other recipes you also like to use!

We pack orders 3+ times a week and after leaving Figgy HQ have a target delivery of 1-2 days for urban deliveries and 2-4 days for non-urban and rural.
All parcels will have a tracking link that will be emailed to you. For rural deliveries, Post Haste contracts NZ post to complete rural delivery where they do not have drivers.

Really excited to have all these recipes in one place and to be using the products. They WORK – I love they are smear free on my kitchen ware and windows and bring no “baddies” into the equation! I haven’t tried all the ideas yet but have bought further Figgy products to really commit to doing so. I am a convert and really recommend the products, recipes and outstanding company efficiency.
We find whipping up your own homemade cleaners is a cinch that only takes a few minutes – certainly not hours! And once you have done it a few times you’ll be a pro and never look back.
99% of the ingredients needed for the recipes are available from the Figgy shop – ones like beeswax for the furniture polish you will need to source elsewhere.
You can reuse jars, bottles and trigger sprayers you all ready have. We have hardware if you need to top up and also replacement parts like new trigger sprayers. We even have labels for your homemade cleaners and your ingredients too!
