Description

Oxygen bleach uses active oxygen to break down stains

Also know as Sodium Percarbonate, Oxygen bleach is an alkaline cleaner and the dry powder form of Hydrogen peroxide. When activated by warm water it will start to bubble - this is hydrogen peroxide and washing soda being released. The great thing about having a dry form of hydrogen peroxide is you can decide when to activate it and it will store, ready to use, until then.

It replaces standard bleach in your everyday cleaning reducing your need to use harmful chlorine. It is particularly good at lifting biological stains, the Oxi action gently lifts stains like blood, grass and grime and is the hands down star for stain removal for your clothes. Because unlike chlorine bleach, oxygenated bleach won't stripe colour from your clothes. No need to worry about those annoying bleach accidents.

Use it confidently in your laundry to work on a range of stains that turn up in the washing pile, old and new - your kids clothes won’t stay ruined for long! Use with warm-hot water to maximise this powders whitening potential!

How to use

How to use oxygen bleach at home

For all cleaning oxygen bleach should be added to warm or hot water to dissolve and activate. Oxygen bleach is active for 2 - 6 hours. Use on suitable textiles and surfaces only. Note that some fabrics will bleed colour just from being soaked in warm water, for this reason use with like colours to avoid colour transfer.

Use 40g per litre of water for everyday cleaning or mild staining on textiles

Use 60g per litre of water for heavy soiling, or heavy staining on textiles

20g is approximately 1 Tablespoon.

To bucket soak clothing: Add oxygen bleach to your container, dissolve with water. Add your clothing and soak for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight. not suitable for wool or silk. Caution with metal zippers that may corrode.

In wash booster: Use 2-3 tablespoons in your main wash cycle - use an extended wash or hold to allow time for stain lifting.

General cleaning: Add to hot water to dissolve, use on surfaces like grout to lift grime and staining. Allow to stay on the surface for 2 hours.

Deck clean: Dissolve 500g in 8L of hot water and spray or pour this over a wetted up deck. Ensure good coverage. leave until it stops fizzing (10-20 minutes), then scrub with a stiff brush and hose off. Repeat if needed for heavily soiled decking.

Use in DIY cleaning recipes: Follow instructions in the Figgy cleaning recipe booklet. Make your own laundry soaker, dishwasher powder, toilet bombs & deck wash

Storage & Safety:

Please remove your powder from this bag and store airtight. Activates with water so must be stored air tight and away from humidity.

Store your cleaners safely and have all containers clearly labelled for identification. Dry ingredient labels are available for your home storage containers

Strictly store out of reach of children and pets. If ingested, this releases gas when activated by moisture, this will cause bloating and can be detrimental. Oxygen bleach releases oxygen so please store away from any source of flame as the oxygen will support combustion.
