What laundry powder are you hanging out in?
Often overlooked, what you wash your clothes, sheets and towels in may be what is making your skin itchy and red! 24/7 our skin is covered or touching textiles that have been washed, often residues lurk inside the textile fibres contribute it irritated skin and eczema flair ups.
Typical laundry washes can have long ingredient list (if its even on the packet!). Many of these ingredients are known to be not only irritating for sensitive skin but also sensitizing agents that can seed the development of allergies.

The pared-back formulation is gentle on skin, especially those with eczema, dermatitis and allergies and also babies and children with delicate skin. With fewer ingredients and no irritants, reactive and sensitive skin will be happy.

A earth friendly, concentrated wash with no fillers
Top up your laundry powder jars and containers at home from this 2kg plain paper bag for a whopping 100 loads* of washing! We never added fillers to our formulation - they don't clean anything. Instead we started with a concentrated laundry wash, which means you use less per load. One tablespoon is all that's needed for an average 6kg load.

Figgy & Co. laundry powder is made from Washing soda, Baking soda, Borax, Figgy’s Home Cleaning Castile Soap. Fragranced options also include whole plant essential oils

How to use Figgy laundry powder
Add directly into your wash or dispenser drawer. In colder water powder can be pre dissolved.
In the washing machine:Â Use 1 Tablespoon per 6kg wash for normal soiling. For larger washes or heavier soiling increase the amount accordingly.
For bucket soaking: Add 1-2 Tablespoons to warm water to dissolve, then add your items to be soaked – items can be soaked for a few hours or overnight.
Storage and safety
- Store in an airtight labelled jar. Decant into your jar when your parcel arrives
- Keep out of reach of children and pets

We pack orders 3+ times a week and after leaving Figgy HQ have a target delivery of 1-2 days for urban deliveries and 2-4 days for non-urban and rural.
All parcels will have a tracking link that will be emailed to you. For rural deliveries, Post Haste contracts NZ post to complete rural delivery where they do not have drivers.

Use 1 tablespoon per 6kg of washing. Increase for larger loads or more soiling.
While our powder works in all temperature waters. It is best in water 30 deg or more. Ideally choose a longer cycle or use a hold during the wash cycle.
We have wonderful feedback from people with skin issues such as Eczema. Our pared back formulation uses fewer ingredients – this makes it easy to avoid know irritants such as detergents, synthetic fragrance and enzymes.
Since I started to buy Figgy&Co washing powder my son’s skin has improved IMMENSELY! He used to suffer of eczema and it was awful to see him itching, but since swapping the washing powder that’s over!
