This is the 1L refill for your Figgy Disinfectant Spray — exactly the same formula as the 500ml bottle. Our acetic acid & citric acid mix, combined with our pine and cedar essential oil blend. One bottle fills your 500ml glass spray bottle twice.

Want the full science story — We used peer-reviewed scientific studies to formulate a safe and effective disinfectant spray that will keep your home hygienic. Typical disinfects use QACs, the problem is this family of chemicals cause lung damage and contribute to antibiotic resistant bacteria. With science on our side, and a can do attitude to only include everyday safe ingredients our disinfectant spray was born. It smells amazing, works great, and you can feel good using it.

Why giving it a shake matters

The essential oils naturally separate from the water and acid base — because there are no bad-for-you synthetic emulsifiers in here holding things together. That separation is normal. It's actually a good sign that it's 100% PEG free. Give the 1L bottle a solid shake before you pour it into your glass bottle, and shake the spray bottle again before each use. That's it, we can leave out the nasties if you do the shake!

Free from QACs, ammonia, hydrogen peroxide & chlorine bleach — these are all ingredients that you will find in typical disinfectants and even some so called eco ones. the thing is studies show us just how terrible they are for our health, the cause irreversible lung damage and can in the case of QACs contribute to antibiotic bacteria, yup that's superbug infections!

This clever combination of everyday ingredients, in just the right amounts means you have a disinfectant you can feel safe using and it's also completely free from synthetic fragrance and dyes. It's also septic and grey water safe. No animal products or testing.

Water, naturally brewed white cleaning vinegar, citric acid, whole plant essential oils.

How to use

Shake the 1L bottle well, then pour into your glass spray bottle.

Shake the spray bottle before each use to distribute the essential oils.

For a full disinfection: pre-clean the surface first, spray generously, leave for 5–10 minutes, then wipe or air dry.

For a quick refresh: shake, spray, wipe.

Best on: Kitchen benches, bathroom surfaces, toilet handles, stainless steel, appliances, glass.

Avoid: Grout, natural stone, wood and porous surfaces.

No Figgy glass bottle? You can use any clean spray bottle you have at home — shake well before each use, and pre-clean the surface first.
